Hello Pooklet, do you have any tips for recolouring dark skintones so they could have cold undertones? I want to recolour a maxis match set but I never managed to make something decent.
Sure! I can try to help. :) I use Photoshop CS3 so any tips I can offer will be based on that program, but hopefully some of it is applicable regardless!
One other maybe-helpful thing before I get to responding to asks and such; milkshape tutorials! I know embarrassingly little about milkshape and written-tutorials often go over my head so these were really helpful to me to see someone use the different features in real time and such!
I recently went on a quest to find a very specific item from a closed site for Azayawife and in the process found literally 107 yahoo groups dedicated to hosting files from dead Sims 2 sites, and I thought maybe I was not the only one who didn’t know about these groups so I am posting the link here!
The drawback is that you have to join each group (
and thus have a yahoo account in the first place see edit!) to get to the files. But you can see what each group hosts on their info page, so if there’s a specific site you’ve been desperately trying to find a backup for, you’ll know right away if a given group contains it.
To access the other groups, simply change the number in the URL, ex. savingthesims2_1, savingthesims2_2, savingthesims2_3, all the way up to savingthesims2_107.
edit: apparently you can sign in with a google account! Thank you for the tip, blissful-indigo!
I told wife that the gen 3 Fiebelkorn legacy haus was not very exciting or elaborately decorated but she did not believe me, so here is awkwardly-angled proof.
Also, leave it to me to spend weeks off and on painstakingly setting up the downtown area only to put this house way out in the sticks where none of it is visible.
